Camber or Rocker?
Camber now comes in all shapes and sizes, from full rocker to regular camber and different variations in between. Each design has unique performance advantages targeted to a specific riding style. There are various rocker designs but in general the larger the distance off the snow, the more soft snow focused a board becomes. The more Rocker the less performance!

In a rockered design, the negative camber lifts tip and tail off the snow to make it easier to rotate the ski or snowboard from left to right without the tip and tail catching on the surface of the snow. This catch-free character makes the ski or board less aggressive, more forgiving, easier and effortless to control. The Rocker also enables the ski or board to floaton top of softer snow due to the negative camber naturally wanting to float. While going straight (sitting flat), the widest part of tip and tail are out of the snow for more stable straight riding and loose, forgiving, catch-free feel while jibbing
The regular tip-to-tail Camber gives the ski or snowboard full edge contact for dynamic turn initiation, speed during the turn and powerful out-of-turn acceleration (rebounds) for maximal forward energy.
